Our church believes that the Christian needs nothing more than a King James Bible, a pen, a pad, and the Holy Spirit of God to rightly learn and grow in the Word. God has already provided every man, woman, and child the ability to understand his preserved Word via the indwelling Spirit, who “will guide you into all truth” (John 16:13, KJV). Scripture teaches that the Bible interprets itself, that truth is revealed line upon line, and that spiritual things are discerned spiritually (1 Corinthians 2:12–14; Isaiah 28:10 KJV). We hold to sound doctrine rooted in the authority, preservation, and sufficiency of Scripture, believing that God’s Word is settled, inspired, and profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness (Psalm 119:89; 2 Timothy 3:16–17, KJV).
While the Bible stands complete on its own, certain tools can assist with study, word definitions, and cross-referencing—never as replacements for Scripture, but as servants to it. We recommend that before using any tool, you go to God in prayer and ask Him to reveal what He would have you see. What God shows you personally will always be better than any commentary you could ever read!
